A horizontal cooker for the alpha-starch conversion and gelatinization of raw materials such as rice flour, mochi flour, corn flour, and starch.
An appropriate amount of raw material and water is supplied into a cylindrical drum. Once the materials are added, steam is injected, and the contents are stirred. The stirring shaft uses our proprietary crank mechanism. Unlike a straight shaft, the crank-shaped shaft is mounted horizontally within the drum to promote even steaming and to prevent the material: refined rice flour, mochi, or dough, from adhering to it. After steaming, the processed material drops onto the twin-shaft kneading unit through a shutter installed at the bottom of the drum, from where it is discharged outside the machine.
Standard models are available in sizes 60, 80, 120, 160, 200, 300, and 400.
We also accommodate custom specifications for the feed inlet, processing capacity, kneading method, and other requirements.
