A forming machine for shaping refined mochi flour and dough into circles, triangles, squares, rectangles, and more.
The material is first rolled into a sheet by a pair of opposing 260 mm-diameter rollers, then cut into the desired shape using a die cutter. The die-cut shapes and the scrap (excess margins) are separated on the lower fabric conveyor. The dough, cut from the shaped rice flour dough, is transferred onto the drying mesh conveyor, and scraps are collected. By changing the cutting molds, a wide variety of shapes can be formed.
The driving of the drying mesh conveyor belt, the back cloth, and the sheeting roll are controlled independently, allowing adjustment to variable factors such as processing speed, the condition of the workpiece, and the shape to be cut.
The standard diameter of the sheeting roll is 260 mm, but a 160 mm diameter option is also available. Additionally, to save time during startup and to conserve work material used to warm the rolls, rolls equipped with a heating device are also provided.
Oil is typically used as a release agent during forming, but models compatible with water as a release agent are also available as an optional specification.
